Person Centred Counselling
Person centred therapy focuses on you, no matter what you bring to the session. This helps build a trustworthy relationship between myself and client, in which you can feel free and supported to disclose whatever is troubling you. The purpose of this is, through the sessions, it will lead you to discover your own abilities and autonomy, so that you can cope with current and future problems.

CBT
Cognitive behaviour therapy or
CBT, is based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are interconnected, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a negative cycle.
By examining our behaviours, this enables us to work together and work out the main contributing factors which are causing us distress. By doing this we can work out how to deal with overwhelming problems in a more positive way by breaking them down into smaller parts.
Unlike some other talking treatments, CBT deals with your current problems, rather than focusing on issues from your past.
It looks for practical ways to improve your state of mind on a daily basis. Once you have these tools you can take them into other parts of life outside the therapy room, these tools will be with you for life.

SFBT
SFBT or Solution focused brief therapy is a short-term therapy which focuses on setting goals and working out how to achieve them. It’s about the future rather than the past and promotes positive change by encouraging you to focus on what you can do, rather than what you can’t.
Solution-focused brief therapy can be helpful for a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues and coping with changes in life.
It's especially beneficial when you have a particular goal to achieve or problem to overcome. It can also be incorporated into other therapeutic approaches and may be used as part of longer-term therapy.
Couples Counselling

Couples Therapy
Relationship issues are one of the most common causes of emotional distress and often the reason people seek help. Working with myself, we can explore and achieve a solid understanding of why difficulties have arisen, and how we can navigate this together.
Working with theory to underpin relationship work , Human Givens’ is a practical, holistic and scientific therapeutic approach which gives us a clear framework for understanding ourselves and what we need to thrive and, Imago theory giving a structured form to help facilitate change from conflict into healing and growth. Using elements from both approaches I recognised, both theories have similarities and values of Person-Centred therapy which is the backbone of my practice giving us the best tool's to approach our work together.
As a couple, you can enter a neutral space to tackle relationship challenges and build a stronger connection. When communication gets tough or you feel stuck in old patterns, we create a space where you both have time to feel heard and understood, learning how to discuss your issues calmly and constructively, helping you feel happy and connected again.
